I am an architect in Chicago, and am searching for an app to which I can redline, annotate, and trace architectural drawings from/on. Trace is a great app for several reasons, but has some pitfalls.

The good:
No other app I can find allows for a true "trace" or layering capability. This is fantastic, and very intuitive for architectural purposes.
I LOVE the scalability of the drawings, and being able to measure things right off of the PDFs will be a huge benefit when doing CA work in the field.

The bad:
Importing a drawing set is more difficult that it should, and this is a BIG deal. Importing an individual PDFs works fine, but for this app to actually make a meaningful impact in my daily life, I would need to be able to import a full drawing set (40+ full size pages for a small project). Currently i have to import each page individually, which is a total waste of my time.
Second, I would like to be able to layer a drawing PDF over another PDF. Currently you can only have multiple trace paper layers over a pdf base layer.

Overall a unique app that is in the right direction...but still lacks some qualities.
